Your breasts are amazing and go through many changes during pregnancy and onwards, especially if you breastfeed your baby.
The breasts and soft tissue around them is incredibly delicate and, therefore, we must reduce the bounce when exercising and support them to avoid damaging and stretching this tissue.
Keeping them secure in a sports bra will not only make you more comfortable when exercising, but they are designed to wick away sweat, stand up to lots of washing and, quite frankly these days, look great too.
Most high-street retailers stocking underwear will have a sports bra in their selection and many now offer breastfeeding-friendly sports bras for added convenience.
To ensure the best fit, we would always recommend visiting a specialist sport or lingerie shop for more choice on the right shape, size and design for you.
Buggyfit have recently done a wear test on the award winning Anita Active ‘dynamix star bra’ to see why this brand and their bras are standing out form the rest.
Our happy Buggyfit Trainer and bra-tester said:
“This bra is not only comfortable and the fabric is really soft, but it doesn’t dig in at the end of a workout or a busy day like many other maximum support sports bras. There is a double layer of fabric creating a perfect shape, nothing is too squashed but they feel securely contained and it certainly offers the maximum support promised. We love the racer-back (which is sewn and not pulled in with a clip) so we can avoid showing straps when we wear our Buggyfit vest tops to take classes in.”
Praise indeed we think!
