Why did you decide to teach Buggyfit?
I was pregnant and sitting at my office desk wondering if I really
wanted to return to it after a years maternity and had heard of the
website workingmums.co.uk - I took a look and straight away there was
Buggyfit which sounded perfect - it would enable me to teach and most
importantly have my baby with me. After attending a couple of classes as
a new Mum myself- I knew it was for me. During an amazing 2007 making
lots of friends through teaching Buggyfit - which also helped me get
back my fitness - I decided to go back to the office 3 days a week (a
little more security), and run buggyfit classes the other days. The Mums
love to be challenged, they want to feel like they've done something
every week, as well as it also being a chance to make new friends, share
ideas or concerns ... they constantly inspire me to keep going even
during the wet and cold mornings!
What ice cream flavour would best describe you and why?
Double chocolate with even more chocolate -
and why does that best describe me? well that's personal.... or you
could just say I love chocolate!
What was your most embarrassing item of clothing as a kid?
I remember my mum giving me a "fame" mini
rara skirt for Christmas one year - I guess I had just started at dance
school so it seemed like a good idea - trust me it wasn't - even then I
knew why I was called Ali - my full name being Alexandra - "Ali Rounder"
- it suited me more!
Free day to yourself- what would you do?
In an ideal world that would involve pampering and friends, yummy healthy food
(it's only the chocolate I fall down on!) and lots of chat - in truth it
would involve chores at home, doing my taxes (yikes year end coming up)
and catching up on Facebook and email!
What is your party trick?
I'm an ex-dancer - many!

Why did you decide to teach buggyfit classes?
After losing 4 stone and dropping 6 dress sizes through exercise after having my daughter Poppy, I thought it would be great if there were outdoor fitness classes for new Mums. I had found becoming fitter and stronger so beneficial as a new Mum, plus I had found a way to manage my prolapsed disk! I found it extremely difficult to find the time to exercise post-pregnancy, couldn't afford the gym and creche fees were crippling.
What ice cream flavour would best describe you and why?
I would say Vanilla - very predictable, what you see is what you get, no frills and dependable!
What was your most embarrassing item of clothing as a kid?
I've tried to block these out and I'm sure at the time I thought they were cool, but probably velvet knickerbockers worn with knee high white socks, black patent t-bars and a frilly shirt - NICE!!
Free day to yourself- what would you do?
I would plan to have some pampering treatments, a nice lunch, followed by a lovely afternoon sleep, but I'd probably end up doing the cleaning and a food shop, without a toddler in tow!
What is your party trick?
Not sure I've got one really, but I can play the recorder through my nose! (experimenting as a child, not that I ever do this at parties!)

Why did you decide to teach Buggyfit?
I started to teach Buggyfit in June 07, because there were no postnatal exercise
classes in my area, where baby could come too. We have a fantastic woods , with great paths, benches and huge old tree
trunks lying on there sides(fab for chest presses!) Buggyfit was prefect. I now run 4 classes a week with 10/12 mums on each one.
We have great fun!
What ice cream flavour would best describe you and why?
I had to ask hubby Paul. Who immediately responded with 'pistachio', because the colour green suits me and I can be a little nuts at times! Charming!
What was your most embarrassing item of clothing as a kid?
Has to be my home made Bay City Roller trousers that my mum made- They looked nothing like the real thing.
Free day to yourself- what would you do?
Free Day - Ha Ha! I would probably curl up with a good book. A nice chilled glass of white(at an appropriate time of course) and some chocolate. I can but dream.
What is your party trick?
I don't really have a party trick as such, but I do enjoy a good dance and insist that everybody else does too. My friends say I belong to the party police.
