Why did you decide to teach Buggyfit?
I was pregnant and sitting at my office desk wondering if I really wanted to return to it after a years maternity and had heard of the website workingmums.co.uk - I took a look and straight away there was Buggyfit which sounded perfect - it would enable me to teach and most importantly have my baby with me. After attending a couple of classes as a new Mum myself- I knew it was for me. During an amazing 2007 making lots of friends through teaching Buggyfit - which also helped me get back my fitness - I decided to go back to the office 3 days a week (a little more security), and run buggyfit classes the other days. The Mums love to be challenged, they want to feel like they've done something every week, as well as it also being a chance to make new friends, share ideas or concerns ... they constantly inspire me to keep going even during the wet and cold mornings!
What ice cream flavour would best describe you and why?
Double chocolate with even more chocolate - and why does that best describe me? well that's personal.... or you could just say I love chocolate!
What was your most embarrassing item of clothing as a kid?
I remember my mum giving me a "fame" mini rara skirt for Christmas one year - I guess I had just started at dance school so it seemed like a good idea - trust me it wasn't - even then I knew why I was called Ali - my full name being Alexandra - "Ali Rounder" - it suited me more!
Free day to yourself- what would you do?
In an ideal world that would involve pampering and friends, yummy healthy food (it's only the chocolate I fall down on!) and lots of chat - in truth it would involve chores at home, doing my taxes (yikes year end coming up) and catching up on Facebook and email!
What is your party trick?
I'm an ex-dancer - many!
