Straight into summer!

Gosh we seem to have skipped Spring and gone straight into summer! I know I can hear you all saying – “Don’t hold your breath”. The buggyfitters at my class yesterday ALMOST tried to moan that it was too hot! I hope your obliques hurt today ladies. So the children break up from school today, and The Redding family are off to France skiing, or walking depending on the amount of snow left. My quads are strong and I am ready to ski hard. Not sure Mr Reds is feeling the same as he is suffering a knee injury, I’m sure it will recover well when he sees the piste!

We have had an exciting start to the month here at buggyfit. We are featured in the May edition of VOGUE magazine, and I have received an invite to a drinks reception at Downing Street! Our Buggyft Tommy’s baby Race venues are almost confirmed. There will be 5 events this year in September, so keep an eye out and enter.
Many of our buggyfit trainers are getting teams together to run or walk a ‘race for life’. Buggyfit have been asked by Race for Life and Tesco to help get Mums involved……. So what are you waiting for? Have a great Easter! Emma

Spring is here…

Wow, Spring is here, this brings perfect buggyfit weather. Clear, dry (mainly) days but not too hot. We now have buggyfit classes in Cape town South Africa so, if you know anyone over there please spread the word (details on this website). There is small buggyfit mention coming out in next months VOGUE- on the shelves 7 April, so take a look. Our features in both Top Sante and Weight Watchers magazines are on the shelves in May, and our RACE FOR LIFE traning classes start next week. Look for a RACE FOR LIFE near you & get signed up, better still do it with your buggyfit trainer and your buggyfit pals.

Photo shoot with Top Sante Magazine

We ended up with a gorgeous morning for our photo shoot for Top sante magazine. Original buggyfitters Hilary and Vicky joined me to have a photo taken to go alongside an article about women who have met through exercise and continued exercising years on.

Although since my hip resurfacing I can’t keep up with either of them running, we do still do exercise challenges together and the odd circuit class. They are both looking amazing and I still have the bum and thighs!

Great class in the grounds of Waddesdon manor today

A great class today with eight lovely ladie’s in the grounds of Waddesdon Manor today, although it was dry the sun stayed hidden.
We hit the incline early to warm up- the gloves were soon off.
Well done ladies -especially those of you who have already done a buggyfit class this week. No actors in sight today – although a few weeks ago we saw lots going on when Jude Law and Robert Downey Jnr were filming Sherlock Holmes 2 there ……  we didn’t see them! And sadly they didn’t have a need for 15 Mums and babies in the film – shame!

Great start to March at Head Office

What a week at Buggyfit head office. We met 8 new trainers at the February training day last Saturday, and this Saturday coming is our development day for existing trainers, with a visit from Hipp Organic to launch the forthcoming promotion.

The Training day welcomed new trainers:

  • Maggie Fordham – Cambridge Centre
  • Gillian McLaughlin – Dunfermline
  • Heather Lorch- Beverly
  • Katie Billingham – Kidderminster
  • Philippa Dunkley – Turvey, Bedfordshire
  • Kelly Bassett – Brighton and Hove
  • Rebeca Shaw – Thirsk
  • Lil Roe – Thame

We are getting more and more enquires from new trainers at the moment, so if you have not found a trainer near you, in the find a class section, please come back to the website as trainers are joining us all the time.

Thank you for reading
